Smart City Summit and Expo 2017 to open on February 21 in Taiwan
TAIPEI -- The 2017 Smart City Summit and Expo, which will be held in Taipei from Feb. 21-24, will focus on the development and application of the internet of things (IoT), an organizer of the international event said.
The exhibition will be held at the Taipei World Trade Center's Nangang Exhibition Hall. A series of forums and conferences will be held in conjunction with the exposition, including the World Telecom Smart City Conference, Sustainable City Forum, Smart Healthcare Seminar and Asia-Pacific Smart Building Forum, the TCA said.
In addition to local governments heads, it is estimated that more than 20 senior officials from telecommunication firms around the world will attend the annual B2B oriented event which is aimed at bringing together domestic and international groups and individuals who are keen to promote the development of IoT and smart cities, it said.
